Turkish Airlines signed a five-year OnPointSM solution agreement with GE Aviation for the maintenance, repair and overhaul of the airline’s CF6-80E engines that power three Airbus A330-200 aircraft.
“We signed this service agreement with GE to ensure our CF6-80E engines are maintained to the OEM standards and remain in top operating condition,” said Dr. Temel Kotil, president and chief executive officer, Turkish Airlines.
“GE and Turkish Airlines have developed a strong relationship with GE maintaining Turkish Airlines’ GE90 and CF6-80E engine fleet,” said Kevin McAllister, president and CEO of GE Aviation’s Services organization. “We look forward to be a significant part of Turkish Airlines’ outstanding operation by maintaining and supporting its recently added CF6-80E engine fleet.”
