Dana concludes re-certification, to acquire more air planes

Dana Air has concluded the re-certification exercise of the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), earning a clean bill of health from the apex regulatory body. 

African airlines to lose $300m in 2019, says IATA

International Air Transport Association (IATA) has predicted a $300 million net loss for African carriers next year.According to the Geneva-based apex aviation body, this is a slight improvement from the $400 million net loss recorded by airlines in the region in this year. 

Arik restores Warri, Gombe, MMA2 operators


Arik Air has restored flight operations to Osubi Airport in Warri, Delta, and Gombe Airport in Gombe State. These operations were suspended on Monday, following threats by the Federal Airport Authority of Nigeria (FAAN), to withdraw its services from these airports, among others, over alleged N1.9 billion debt.
