Arik Air has introduced self-service kiosks for passengers travelling to any part of the country and beyond.
The airline also introduced two extra payment options to broaden payment options available to passengers.
Mr. Ola Adebanji, the spokesperson for
the airline stated that the self-service kiosk allows passengers make
bookings and pay for Arik Air tickets without the intervention or
assistance from any of its officers.
He said that the service was a first of
its kind in Nigeria, adding that the kiosks are being rolled out across
Nigeria in phases starting with Lagos. The service is currently available at its Ikeja office. The airline has also introduced two one payment options for its passengers.
These are the Globalpay and Internet Banking/Bank Branch Payment (NIBSS Ebills Pay). Global Pay, a product of Zenith Bank,
allows Verve card, MasterCard, Visa Card holders and Zenith Bank
Internet banking users make payment for Arik Air tickets on the Arik Air
Mobile Website.
The internet banking and branch payment
option will enable air passengers book and pay for tickets on Arik Air
website using their internet banking credentials and Bank Branch
Locations.
The Managing Director of Arik Air Mr.
Chris Ndulue said; “Our renewed focus is on the introduction and
deployment of technologies that will not only increase in-flight travel
comfort but will provide more convenient avenues to book flights, get
travel updates, check-in and constantly remain in touch with Arik”.
