A
25-year-old stowaway has been arrested after he was found inside the
tyre compartment of a Ghana-bound Medview Airlines plane parked at the
tarmac of the Murtala Muhammed Airport Terminal Two.
The man identified as Festus Chikelube
succeeded in gaining access into the tyre compartment of Medview
aircraft which was ready for taxing.
The police said the suspect had
travelled by road from Anambra State to Lagos before finding his way
into the airport through its perimeter fence.
The stowaway was found inside the

check on the plane before its departure to Accra, Ghana.
Chikelube in his confession told police
investigators that he was frustrated and wanted to leave the country for
a greener pasture by all means.
When asked how he managed to find his
way into the tyre compartment of the aircraft, the stowaway said he
jumped the perimeter fence of the airport to gain access into the MMA2
