The House of Representatives has disclosed plans to probe the collapse of the runway at Akanu Ibiam International Airport, Enugu that warrants its imminent closure for repairs.

French commercial jet manufacturer, Airbus, has stretched its lead over Boeing in aircraft deliveries, as the latter continues to be held back by the grounding of its embattled 737 Max model. 

Air travel busiest day records 17m passengers, 115,500 flights

Last Friday August 9 was adjudged the busiest single day of 2019 for flying around the world.

More than 17 million passengers were estimated to have taken to the skies on over 115,500 flights within a single 24-hour period.
